Cookies Policy

Last updated: 2 May 2026

This page explains how aed.mt uses cookies and similar storage technologies (such as browser localStorage) to provide and improve our service.

What we use

  • Strictly necessary — session and authentication tokens stored by our backend provider so signed-in users (such as moderators) stay logged in. These cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in.
  • Functional — small amounts of local storage to remember UI preferences (e.g. last map position).
  • Third-party map tiles — when the map loads, your browser requests tiles from OpenStreetMap, which may log standard request data (IP, user agent) per their own policy.
  • Embedded videos — the First-Aid training page embeds YouTube videos. YouTube may set its own cookies once you press play. We use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain where possible.

No advertising or tracking cookies

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and reset any saved preferences.
